Dr. Scott Edwards is a dentist in Memphis, TN, who has served the area since 1982, providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Our offices utilize state-of-the-art dental technology and the most updated techniques, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality dental care possible. With two convenient dentist offices in Memphis, located in Midtown and East Memphis, we are better able to serve our patients. Dr. Scott Edwards and his associates, Dr. Julia Prince & Dr. Adam Fitzhugh, regularly attend continuing education to ensure our practice stays on the cutting edge of technology.

  • Dr. Scott Edwards

    Dr. Scott Edwards has lived his entire life in Memphis. After graduating from Overton High School, he received a Biology degree from the University of Tennessee. Upon graduating from UT Dental School, he opened his private dental practice in 1982. He has two children, Taylor and Maggie. They are active members at Christ United Methodist Church. Dr. Edwards has served on the Administrative Board, Missions Committee, Youth Committee, as well as, the Recreation Committee of his church. He also currently serves on the Board of SOS (Service Over Self). Dr. Edwards has participated in numerous Medical/Dental mission trips to El Salvador, Africa, China, and the Dominican Republic. He helped establish and renovate the new dental clinic at the Church Health Center and has served on its Board. In 2010, Dr. Edwards traveled with a team to construct a dental teaching facility in Ganta, Liberia. He currently serves as Trustee of the Memphis Dental Society Charitable Fund. He received the Memphis Dental Society Humanitarian Award in 2012.

  • Dr. Julia Prince

    Dr. Julia Prince grew up in her hometown of Dyersburg, Tennessee. After graduating from Dyersburg High School, she obtained her biology degree from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee in 2006. She is a graduate of UT College of Dentistry and has worked with Hope Smiles in Nashville, Give Kids a Smile, Local Health Fairs with American Association of Women Dentist, and Bellevue Baptist mobile dental clinic. She has also participated with Habitat for Humanity in Mexico and the United States, and served as a volunteer with the Regional Interfaith Association Soup Kitchen. Dr. Prince is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentist, and Memphis Dental Society. She has grown up in the dental community having worked for her father's (Dr. Randy Prince) dental practice in Dyersburg. She and Dr. Edwards share the practice philosophy of providing comprehensive dentistry through working with each patient to meet the individual's distinctive oral health goals. Dr. Prince and her husband, Taylor Pfohl, attend Idlewild Presbyterian Church. They enjoy playing with their rescue dogs and spending the weekends on the golf course.

  • Dr. Adam Fitzhugh

    Born and raised in Memphis, Dr. Adam Fitzhugh is a family dentist. He attended Christian Brothers High School & graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Fitzhugh continued his studies at the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014. His wife, Kayla, is a Registered Nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fitzhugh and Kayla enjoy spending time together at Shelby Farms with their dog. He also enjoys building & flying remote control airplanes. They are both members at Hope Presbyterian Church. Dr. Fitzhugh is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, as well as, the America Student Dental Association. His decision to practice dentistry is based on a passion to work one-on-one with individuals & boost his patient’s quality of life. Dr. Fitzhugh has volunteered with the Bellevue Baptist Mobile Dental Clinic, Give Kids A Smile, and most recently with the first Mid-South Mission of Mercy & seeks to continue his volunteer service around the local community.
