The Karamu Nutrition Program (KNP) is one of the largest non-profit food program sponsors in the country. Karamu’s founder and Executive Director, Dr. Vera Corley-Sims, is a retired childcare provider and a nationally known advocate for provider and children’s causes. Karamu is a provider friendly organization which has built a strong reputation of treating its providers with respect and courtesy. Karamu’s Mission is to provide low cost, high quality services to Tennessee’s childcare providers and the children and families they serve.
